The Malaysian Handicraft Development Corporation (Malaysian Handicraft) is an agency under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, established under Act 222, the Malaysian Handicraft Development Corporation Act (1979). The Malaysian Handicraft Board of Directors are spearheaded by the Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Director General and members of the Board of Directors consisting of representatives from the government agencies and private sectors. The Malaysian Handicraft management and administration are headed by the Director General assisted by two Deputy Directors, namely the Deputy Director General (Operations) and Deputy Director General (Development) in realising the organisation’s vision, mission and objectives in accordance to its stipulated roles.
